I’ve now completed 453 miles in my goal to ruck 608 miles in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. That leaves 155 miles to go before the end of the year.

The physical side of the challenge is on track. Now it’s time to ratchet up the fundraising and make sure the impact goes beyond miles.

Recent Reminders

In the last couple of months, I’ve heard from two people who’ve shared news of recent brain cancer diagnoses among people in their circles or loved ones. Each time, it brings me back to the purpose behind this effort. It’s about keeping attention, support, and momentum aimed at something that matters. It reminds about how quickly life can change in material, challenging ways.

That includes the children and families at St. Jude, many of whom are facing life-altering diagnoses far too early in life.

How to Support

If you’ve been following this challenge, if you’ve checked in on progress, or shared a kind word, thank you. If you haven’t donated yet, I’m asking you to please consider it now. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.

This is an opportunity to directly support care and research that gives kids with brain cancer a better chance and gives their families some much-needed peace of mind.

Why St. Jude

St. Jude is one of the leading institutions in the world when it comes to treating and researching pediatric brain cancer. They take on some of the most complex and aggressive cases, and they do it without families ever receiving a bill for care, travel, housing, or food.

Your donation helps:

  • Fund treatment for children at no cost to their families

  • Support research into better therapies and long-term outcomes

  • Provide stability, comfort, and community during an incredibly uncertain time

This is the kind of work that needs consistent support, and that’s what this ruck is about.

Thanks again for following along and supporting this cause.
